Graham Slaughter is a writer of fiction and non-fiction living in Toronto.

His writing has been shortlisted for the Bronwen Wallace Award for Emerging Writers, the RBC PEN Canada New Voices Award, longlisted for the Masters Review Novel Excerpt contest, and recognized by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council and the Toronto Arts Council.

His journalistic work and reviews have appeared in Toronto Life, The Toronto Star, Canadian Geographic, CTV News and The Province. His reporting has been nominated for a Canadian Online Publishing Award and an RTDNA Canada Award.

He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University.

He is currently working on a coming-of-age novel and a memoir about whales.
